PANEL ONE: Baxter sees the road that leads out of town. NOW LEAVING GLOAMING BE SEEING YOU! or something like that.
BAXTER:
The road out of town. Oh, my god.
PANEL TWO: CARTER looks and only sees the end of the street.
CARTER:
What are you talking about?
PANEL THREE: BAXTER puts on his Marine cap cuz he’s focussed now.
BAXTER:
Remember when I told you, Gloaming only lets go of you when it’s done with you? Well son, it is done with ME.
PANEL FOUR: BAXTER reaches over and opens Carter’s door.
BAXTER:
Really nice to have met you, Carter. But I gotta get while the gettin’s good.
CARTER:
What- are you kidding? Don’t leave me here!
PANEL FIVE: BAXTER tries to explain, but CARTER isn’t having it.
BAXTER:
It ain’t like I got a choice. I can see the road, you can’t. Means Gloaming still wants you here.”
CARTER:
Fuck that, Baxter. Drive. Get me out of here.
BAXTER:
