KELLY:
This has been going around school, it’s a video Angela took while we were waiting for the ambulance.
PANEL TWO: RICHIE looks down at the cell phone pic. KELLY seems curious.
RICHIE:
It’s just…a blur of colors.
KELLY:
Exactly. But she was filming you lying there unconscious.
PANEL THREE: RICHIE holds the cell phone out to KELLY, who takes it. EDDIE chimes in.
RICHIE:
So what’s this?
KELLY:
We were hoping you could tell us.
EDDIE:
Shed some light on it, even.
KELLY:
(Hilarious.)
PANEL FOUR: RICHIE looks blankly at both of them. How should he know? EDDIE and KELLY press him for info! THEY EXIT THE SCHOOL.
RICHIE:
I don’t know. I was unconscious.
EDDIE:
We’re wondering if it’s like cosmic rays or something!
KELLY:
Are your powers radioactive?
RICHIE:
No! God no.
They’d never have let me leave the hospital.
They did tests for that. It’s just light.
PANEL FIVE: Now out in the courtyard in front of the school, KELLY takes a pic of RICHIE with her phone.
KELLY:
Innnteresting. Hold still.
